The CLOCKSS archive has a single class of AIP, called an Archival Unit (AU), documented in [[Definition of AIP]]. Part of that documentation describes [[Definition of AIP#Creating AIPs from SIPs|the two different processes]] that create AUs (AIPs) from the two different types of SIP used by the CLOCKSS archive.
