4.6.2 - The repository shall follow policies and procedures that enable the dissemination of digital objects that are traceable to the originals, with evidence supporting their authenticity.
Content is disseminated from the CLOCKSS archive only upon a decision by the CLOCKSS board that a trigger event has occurred, and only to one or more re-publishing sites. The process is described in CLOCKSS: Extracting Triggered Content. It ensures that the content retains its original bibliographic metadata and, for harvest content, as far as possible its original look and feel.
