4.3.2.1 - The repository shall have mechanisms in place for monitoring and notification when Representation Information is inadequate for the Designated Community to understand the data holdings.

In the CLOCKSS context, the Representation Information would become inadequate as a result of support for one or more of the formats used by the Content Information being removed from the browsers in common use. For monitoring of this possibility, see LOCKSS: Software Development Process.
