4.4.1 - The repository shall have specifications for how the AIPs are stored down to the bit level.
Definition of AIP specifies how CLOCKSS AIPs (AUs) are represented in a POSIX file system:
- How the root directory of the AU is located using the unique name of the AU.
- How the path from the root directory of the URL to the content and metadata of each URL in an AU is generated from the path components of the URL.
- How the metadata is stored.
- How successive versions of the content and metadata of a URL are represented.
