4.2.6.2 - The repository shall execute its documented processes for acquiring PDI.
The CLOCKSS archive has a single class of AIP, called an Archival Unit (AU), documented in Definition of AIP. This document defines the automatic process that generates the Preservation Description Information (PDI) associated with each content object within each AIP (AU) during the creation of that content object from a SIP by the only process the LOCKSS daemon implements for creating content objects within an AU.
