4.4.2.1 Procedures for all actions taken on AIPs

4.4.2.1 - The repository shall have procedures for all actions taken on AIPs.

The permitted actions on AUs (AIPs) on CLOCKSS boxes are:

• Adding content from a SIP to the AU, documented in Definition of AIP.
• Repairing loss or damage to content in an AU, described in LOCKSS: Polling and Repair Protocol.
• Extracting content from an AU in response to a trigger event, documented in CLOCKSS: Extracting Triggered Content.
• Moving an AU from one location in the POSIX file system to another, documented in CLOCKSS: Box Operations.
