4.4.2.1 - The repository shall have procedures for all actions taken on AIPs.
The permitted actions on AUs (AIPs) on CLOCKSS boxes are:
- Adding content from a SIP to the AU, documented in Definition of AIP.
- Repairing loss or damage to content in an AU, described in LOCKSS: Polling and Repair Protocol.
- Extracting content from an AU in response to a trigger event, documented in CLOCKSS: Extracting Triggered Content.
- Moving an AU from one location in the POSIX file system to another, documented in CLOCKSS: Box Operations.
